![]() ![]() REUSABLE COLD or HOT Stays frozen for days
2 Ply Techni-Ice Used worldwide to ship fresh or frozen perishables. Fresh and frozen food. Pharmaceuticals. Textile on one side and plastic on the other, ideal for single or minimal reuse applications
such as the transportation of perishables, etc. This model is not
suggested for reusable application in the consumer market due to the
fact that one side is non-woven textile. Its main markets are for the
transport of produce and medicines when temperature stability is
paramount in cold chain transport and packaging applications. This
model is currently used by many of the world's largest industry users
and is considered a world industry standard and can be bulk hydrated.
Techni-Ice reusable dry ice packs/gel packs contain the most advanced refrigerants for maximum performance. It can also be cut in between cells to fit any size container. This model is suitable for the packaging and transport of food or temperature sensitive items. ![]() ![]() Hydration Instructions for 2 ply sheet Bulk hydration:
1. Bulk hydrate up to several thousand sheets at a time by emptying the sheets directly from the bulk cartons textile side down in the water. 2. As this model absorbs water through the textile side, it is important to ensure that this side is touching the water. 3. Although this model can hydrate within a few minutes if scrunched between hands, it is usually more convenient to simply empty the sheets into the vessel of water where they can be left to naturally hydrate over several hours without human intervention. Machine hydration: A simple solution to fast bulk hydration is to use agitator-type domestic washing machines. Ensure that the machine is clean, hygienic and free from any soap or detergent residue. It is usually a good idea to include a couple of clean towels at the same time to increase the movement within the washing machine. This information has been based on feedback from customers and results vary depending on the different types of washing machines but it appears that the wider the agitator blades and the higher they are on the center column, the more effective it seems to be. Freezing Instructions
STEP 1: Adjust freezer to coldest setting for best results.
STEP 2: For initial use, place sheets in freezer for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours. STEP 3: When frozen, use at least 1 sheet of Techni Ice per 8 quarts of cooler capacity for maximum performance. An average family cooler (48 quart) would need 6- 8 sheets to stay cold for extended periods.
TECHNI-ICE sheets measure 10 x 15.6 inches and consist of 24 cells per sheet. Cut between cells to fit any size container. Distributed by: NEW ERA PRODUCTS Zephyrhills, FL theNewDryIce@yahoo.com Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia for use in the world's harshest climates. |
